i had a wonderful stay at the hotel. my previous trip to grindelwald didn’t quite compare to this one. the mountain views from my room were breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the breakfast spread featured an impressive selection of freshly baked goods and local cheeses.

Breakfast was a gourmet delight with cold meats and artisanal cheeses that left me wanting more! Plus, the cozy lounge had that inviting vibe, perfect for sipping coffee while taking in those mountain views. And can we talk about the quick stroll to nearby eateries? Derbystube and EIGER+ cafe lounge were just steps away, serving up tasty bites!

The only hiccup was the beds—single beds that liked to slide apart. A double bed option would’ve made our nights cozier. Still, the staff was a real gem, doing their best to help us out.

Had an awesome stay! Super close to the train station, just a quick 30-sec walk. Staff were great, always ready to help. But honestly, the breakfast menu could use some variety. we had the same thing every morning. The outdoor dining area was a nice perk though! Overall, loved the room, just felt a bit cramped.

The location of Bernerhof is truly excellent, being just minutes from the train and bus stations. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious fresh pastries and an assortment of Swiss cheeses. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere created by the staff, who were attentive and eager to help with any requests I had during my stay.

The staff was excellent and very helpful, providing great service during our stay. We enjoyed the fantastic mountain view from our balcony room, which enhanced our experience significantly.

In my wife’s opinion, parking was a bit tricky around the area. A designated family area would have made things easier.
